Peacemaker
Where others see a dispute, you look for common ground.
As a peacemaker, you have a natural sense for harmony. When tension rises in a room, you instinctively look for where the sides agree and help them see it. You don't win arguments – you dissolve them. At work, you are the one who can bring departments that no longer talk to the same table and find a solution everyone can live with. In relationships, you bring calm, patience and the ability to listen to both sides without taking either. You know that most disputes come from misunderstanding, not bad intent. Your talent saves teams energy, money and friendships.

Questions about this talent
What job is right for a peacemaker?
Peacemakers fit mediation, family counselling, diplomacy, employee relations, ombudsperson roles and cross-department project management. They also excel at resolving complaints or as school psychologists. Wherever different interests collide, their calm and impartiality produce solutions. They are also valued in HR and in any team where people from different backgrounds need to work well together.
Isn't a peacemaker just someone who fears conflict?
No. Avoiding conflict is a blind spot, but a mature peacemaker steps into conflict deliberately – in order to resolve it. The difference is whether you sweep a problem under the rug or open it up and guide people to an agreement. A well-developed peacemaker handles even tough conversations calmly and with a clear outcome.
How can a peacemaker use AI?
AI helps you prepare: it breaks positions into needs, suggests possible solutions and lets you rehearse a difficult conversation. It is also useful for neutral meeting minutes and for softening heated messages. The trust between people, however, is something you build – AI is just your preparation team.
